Air
Atlantic flying club operations has started with
N3534H, a Mooney
M20F, based at RUQ Salisbury/Rowan County Airport. RUQ is centrally
located within 45 NM's of GSO Greensboro/Piedmont Triad International, INT
Winston Salem/Smith-Reynalds, HKY Hickory Regional, CLT Charlotte/Douglas
International, JQF Concord Regional and several other public and private
airports in the piedmont region of North Carolina including IPJ Lincoln
County, SVH Statesville, 14A Mooresville/Lake Norman and EXX
Lexington/Davidson County.
Air Atlantic has
the vision of providing clean, well maintained and well equipped aircraft
for pilots and passengers of select taste where members can take comfort in the
airworthiness of the aircraft as well as knowing those who last flew the
aircraft are of a select taste and have an interest in safety similar to
their own. Members of the Air Atlantic Flying Club will be able to
eliminate the issues found with aircraft offered to the general public.
Our members will be able to take comfort in knowing that the aircraft flying
their family, friends and associates will be in the best condition possible.
Air Atlantic Flying Club members will also find they have that
experienced instructor,
who is with Air Atlantic for the long-term, for checkouts, continued
currency and to help members and potential members meet the insurance
requirements for piloting Air Atlantic's club aircraft. Furthermore, the members of the Air Atlantic Flying Club will find
themselves feeling as if the club's aircraft are their own aircraft, because
in essence the aircraft will be.
In additional to
the Mooney N3534H, the Air Atlantic
Flying Club has plans to eventually offer aircraft for those obtaining their Private Pilot certificate
as well as other aircraft for those currently holding a pilot certificate.
Air Atlantic plans also include aircraft that can be used to obtain that next
rating whether instrument, multi, commercial, ATP, etc. Note that
N3534H is now available for the instrument rating and other advance training
such as Garmin training.
For those who
are not pilots but require the flexibility and excitement that only aviation
can provide, you too can be Air Atlantic Flying Club members and experience
the benefits of flying to your destination.
