clear day offers one a view as far the eye can see.
Lake
Norman Scenic Flight
On clear days stunning
views of Winston-Salem, Greensboro and the Queen City of Charlotte can all
been seen as well as the Blue Ridge Mountains. Upon flying
over the City of Mooresville one can see the various race shops in the
area as well as the Lowe's corporate headquarters. The Mooresville
area also offers views of Morrison Plantation, the Brawley School Road
area and the stunning lake front homes of Lake Norman. The flight
flies over the heart of Lake Norman passing Lincoln County's Westport area
to the west and the towns of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville to the
east. At the Peninsula one will see more fabulous lake front homes
and why this area is so attractive.
As stunning as this flight
is during the daytime, nighttime offers another stunning perspective.
Even though some of the detail of the countryside and the area is lost at
night, the aerial view of the city lights under the stars offers a
magnificent view that more than makes up for the daylight detail lost
during the nighttime hours.

- RUQ Salisbury/Rowan
County Airport - Departing the Salisbury/Rowan County Airport this
flight offers views of the City of Salisbury including the Food Lion
corporate headquarters and distribution center. This flight will
take one over the farmlands of the Rowan County countryside including
Patterson Farm, Lazy 5 Ranch and the estate of Hut Strickland.
Enroute to Lake Norman passengers can see the estate of Ernie Ervin and
the growing town of Mooresville.
- SVH Statesville
Regional Airport - Departing Statesville Regional leaving behind the
race shops at this airport, this flight offers view of Statesville as
well as one of the shortest flight times to Lake Norman.
- IPJ
Lincolnton/Lincoln County Airport - Departing the Lincolnton/Lincoln
County Airport this flight offers views of the City of Lincolnton and
the countryside of eastern Lincolnton County including the Verdict Ridge
Golf Course and community.
- JQF Concord Regional
Airport - Departing Concord Regional leaving behind the race shops
of this airport, this flight offers views of Concord and the Lowe's
Motor Speedway as well as the closest view of Charlotte.

Charlotte at Night
The guest on this flight will
view uptown Charlotte at night and experience one of the more stunning
aerial views this area has to offer. Depending on the departure point,
this flight utilizes a route north or east of the city to bring the city
lights, reaching to the sky, closest to our flying guests.
Please note JQF and EQY offer
the better departure points for viewing the Charlotte city skyline up close
due to the FAA regulations scenic flights operate
under. JQF offers the most economical departure point for the Lance
while RUQ offers the most economical departure point for the Arrow due to
the aircraft's home base.

Winston at Night
The guest on this flight will
view Winston-Salem at night and experience the magnificent aerial view of
the city's nighttime skyline. This flight utilizes a route south of
the city to bring the lights of the Winston-Salem skyline closest to our
flying guests.
Due to the
FAA regulations scenic flights operate under, EXX offers the closest
view of the Winston-Salem city skyline.

daylight hours.

This option allows you to
customize the total experience. You can choose the duration,
route, points of interest, request a limo service and/or other unique ideas
allowing you to customize virtually
every aspect to provide the experience you desire. It may be the
birthday, the anniversary, the new promotion or some other time of
importance. You may wish to spice up the night on the town by having
the limo service drive you and your significant other to the airport for a
flight of the area followed by dinner of your choosing. Any idea

The Arrow Basic Package includes
pricing for one passenger. Each additional passenger is $25 and
children under 12 are $15. Seating allows for 3 passengers total.
The Basic Package includes passenger headsets, a pre-flight passenger
briefing, narrated flight identifying landmarks of interest and a post
flight passenger debriefing.
The Arrow PIC (Pilot In Command)
Package includes the same amenities of the Basic Package with the addition
of including the passenger(s) in the "walk around" and other PIC duties
required prior to each flight. This is the package for the future
pilot who wants the scenic experience as well as the experience of the pilot
in command.
The Arrow Premium Package is priced
for two guests and provides all the amenities of the Basic Package as well
as offering an unique experience tailored to the guest and the specific
flight
The Lance Package is priced
for up to four guests and provides the same amenities as the Arrow Premium
Package. The Lance offers club seating as well as a convenient
passenger entrance.
The Custom Package allows you to
customize virtually every aspect of the flight to provide the experience you
desire. These flights can be customized to provide the best of unique
experiences during day or night including the transitional period of
twilight. Pricing is TBD (to be determined) based on the specific
details. Please contact Air Atlantic to

Scenic Aircraft
Air Atlantic currently uses
a Piper Arrow and Piper Lance for our scenic flights. The Arrow is a sporty PA-28R-200,
retractable gear, 4-seat aircraft with a cruise speed of 140 knots (161
MPH).
Piper Arrow
The Lance is a PA-32R-300,
retractable gear, 6-seat aircraft with rear club seating for four cruising
at a speed of 155 knots (178 MPH).

FAA Scenic Flight
Regulations
Title 14 of the Code of Federal
Regulations FAA Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) part 119.1(6)(e)(2)
provides a definition for scenic flights as "Nonstop sightseeing
flights...that begin and end at the same airport, and are conducted within a
25 statute mile radius of that airport."
